Starting a 1968 Solex 3800 for the first time in decades. The ignition system and the fuel system are entirely new, but I didn't touch anything inside of the engine.

Germany's Borgward has been resurrected after spending 54 years in the history books. The company's ambitious revival is being undertaken by Christian Borgward, the grandson of company founder Carl F.W. I did driver training on skidpans. The instructor would turn off the ABS without warning! With my 12.5 metre O303 motorhome I wonder if I could try this on my local streets!!!

Is it a 4 link suspension?

This type of suspension is used even in to The latest models(2022) from BMW, Mercedes, Audi. It's very advanced
@@nicoletapopescu6530 it is a great suspension, as it offers a lot of flexibility. But i just can't get past Citroen's hydractive discontinuation, they made it affordable, yet demands were low. An active air suspension (with multilinks) is great, yet expensive.
@@abdullahalammar7291 yes, Hydractive suspension with double wishbone on front, and multilink with Citroen tehnology on rear suspension make a great job. They leave this tehnology. Make only suspension with simple tehnology now.

I bet the seat belt was just a lap belt. The fiat is so tall and not really wide at all compared to any other US car. Looks like c crazy fun skidding the Abarth 500 Cincecento around.

+1955Cal ICE cars had A LOT of issues back then they were only overcome due to the massive amount of R&D pumped into cars which made them what they are today....
